An energy audit of the Pulaski Memorial Hospital facility identified eight energy conservation measures. DAE recommended occupancy sensors to control exhaust fans and lighting, night setback, power factor correction, vending machine setback timers, upgrading exit lights, pumpless condensate units, and adding variable speed drives. The energy cost payback and return on investment to implement these measures are 2.17 years and 46.2%, respectively, which will result in an 8.0% reduction in energy costs.
